Week 4      26/02/2023 In week 4, the details of the circuit were completely worked out. This week was mainly devoted to the assembly and debugging of the circuit and housing parts.   Accomplishments : 1、The problem that the motor could not run in the circuit last week was solved by adjusting the position of the BJT in the circuit. 2、Used the acrylic board to complete the production of the shell of the dealer. 3、The normal operation of the overall dealer was achieved without putting playing cards.   Problems and alternatives : In the final stage, replacing the computer connection with a lighter battery would give the device a better look. After replacing the computer USB power supply with a 9V battery, the designers found that the 9V battery could not provide enough voltage to the servo motor in the circuit. Then, the team members discussed and made some assumptions to adjust the structure of the housing, so that the computer USB can provide power while ensuring...

Week 3      18/02/2023 In   week  3,   w e chose a new motor to act on the card delivery part. We have modified and adapted the code part. Sent a 3D cut model to AA and made a part of it out of cardboard for testing.   Physical process : After changing the new motor and connecting it to the breadboard, we found that the motor was not working. Initially, we thought it was an under voltage problem, but after connecting the motor to a higher voltage DC power it was found to be working normally. Therefore, the problem of voltage is excluded. Next, we thought that the motor did not match the code, and modified the code part, but the result was still not ideal. There have been cases where the simulation works fine on the computer but the reality doesn't work. Afterward, we replaced the motor with the matching code again, but the motor speed was too low due to insufficient voltage. Cannot complete the task of dealing cards. Summarize this section. The interfa...

Week 2       11/02/2023   Accomplishments :   This week we made significant progress in circuit construction, connecting all the electronic components  logically  on an  A rduino board  which   has  a limited number of interfaces, and testing the Manoeuvrability (here we refer it as can be programmed) of each individual part in simulation software, laying an important foundation for linking all the functions together in the coming w eek.   Problems and alternatives :   For the digital modeling, we had to shelve our plans of 3D printing about the supports and housing materials  temporarily  due to the tight  quota   and  resource allocation at the school, and instead, adopt a more environmentally friendly recyclable cardboard, etc. as the housing  and  constructing material as a com pensat ion. Week 1

Week 1      03/02/2023 Playing poker is a popular form of entertainment for people of all ages. This project is designed to create an automatic dealing machine that has the capability to deal cards depending on the number of participants and the way they are played in.   Preliminary idea:  The licensing machine is divided into two parts, the upper part of the licensing, the lower part of the control machine rotation and the power supply to the upper part. Aims of this week: 1. Learned how to connect software and hardware, and built the circuit using thinkerCAD. 2. Learned how to build a 3D model, and roughly built it. Problems: The connection problem between the base and the upper part. How the rotating shaft is fixed without affecting the rotation. The gears do not match. Code does not control the hardware. The monitor takes up too many ports on the R3 board, resulting in a slightly awkward placement of the motor. The conflict between code instructions for diff...
