Week 3
Week 3 18/02/2023
In week 3, we chose a new motor to act on the card delivery part. We have modified and adapted the code part. Sent a 3D cut model to AA and made a part of it out of cardboard for testing.
Physical process:
After changing the new motor and connecting it to the breadboard, we found that the motor was not working. Initially, we thought it was an under voltage problem, but after connecting the motor to a higher voltage DC power it was found to be working normally. Therefore, the problem of voltage is excluded. Next, we thought that the motor did not match the code, and modified the code part, but the result was still not ideal. There have been cases where the simulation works fine on the computer but the reality doesn't work. Afterward, we replaced the motor with the matching code again, but the motor speed was too low due to insufficient voltage. Cannot complete the task of dealing cards. Summarize this section. The interface of the new DC motor and Arduino can't match. In this case, the team members thought of using the original DC motor and a new casing to form a new motor. This motor can work normally, but its speed is not enough, the main reason is that the voltage is not large enough. The action of dealing the cards needs to be completed and more detailed adjustments are required.

3D simulation part:
With the help of AA, we decided to use laser cutting instead of 3d printing, and redesigned the .dxf file. And use cardboard glue to build a model for some functional tests.
Future:
Next week, we'll basically finish the physical form of the project. We will glue and build the 3D cut acrylic board and combine the circuit and model. After completion, we will debug the software again. The purpose is to solve the combination problem between plates. At the same time, the main task of the project is to send poker accurately and quickly, so it is very necessary for us to ensure the stability and adaptation of the real object and the internal circuit.
